Personal Financial Planning
Our approach to personal financial planning answers the following
questions:
- Am I (and my family) financially secure?
- Can I attain my objectives and be financially
independent?
- Am I making the best use of my resources?
To answer these very personal questions, we offer financial planning
that recognizes the differing needs, objectives, and resources
of our clients. Our financial planning method consists of four
steps:
- Fact Finding: We collect information from you to understand
your objectives and to review your resources and financial arrangements.
- Evaluation of Opportunities: We provide you with a list of
opportunities that are available to you, along with a cost/benefit
analysis of each. This will help you to assess the value of
each planning opportunity.
- Two types of plans:
- A Target Plan that addresses specific
issues (retirement, business, or estate planning)
- A Comprehensive Plan that addresses the following issues
simultaneously:
- Financial Statement
- Cash Flow and Net Worth
- Risk Management
- Income Tax Planning
- Business Planning
- College Funding
- Retirement Planning
- Investment Planning
- Estate Planning
- Implementation: We provide you with
a report containing a list of all your options and a list of
the steps necessary to implement the plan. We will help
you implement the plan by meeting with your accountant, attorney,
or other advisor, select products, or manage your assets.
- Review: We recommend reviewing your plan with us every three
to five years.
We invite you to talk with us about your financial planning needs.
During your no fee initial consultation, we will design a customized
approach to your financial planning needs as well as provide you
with an estimate of the cost of financial planning. Please call
us at (734)994-1188 to arrange an appointment.
