Our Tisch Team

Fernando L. Ortiz, CFPFernando L. Ortiz is a Vice President with Tisch Investment Advisory Incorporated.  He began his career as a securities broker with a large national firm.  In 1992, he joined TIAA-CREF as a personal financial consultant and later became a wealth management advisor to university retirement plan participants.  In addition to his professional duties, from 2001 to 2004, Fernando was an adjunct professor of financial planning at Oakland University.  He has been a featured speaker with the Financial Planning Association of Michigan "Speaker's Bureau," and he has participated in developing test questions for the national Certified Financial Planner Exam, through the Certified Financial Board of Standards.  He has also been an instructor for financial classes at Daimler-Chrysler.  Fernando specializes in wealth planning and investment management.
